HR Coordinator, Center of Excellence

OVERVIEW

Supports the Human Resources team through the administration of Human Resources Center of Excellence processes. Ensure HR compliance with various federal and state regulations. Administer HR processes, policies, and procedures. Collect and analyze HR data to help inform good business decisions. Support internal employee communications regarding compensation, benefits, company policies, and other HR activities.


This role is a temporary position (40 hours/week) with the opportunity to convert to a full-time employee!


KEY OBJECTIVES

  • Support global recruiting. Build and maintain talent pipeline to foster rapid industry growth
  • Support associate requests as needed. Demonstrate urgency in meeting requests concerning benefits, compensation, HRIS system, recruiting, payroll, etc.
  • Support global employee engagement


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as HR relationship builder for assigned businesses by proactively developing effective manager/employee relationships
  • Provide support for HR initiatives and the delivery of HR services
  • Identify legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are compliant
  • Support new employee orientation to engage new employees and assimilate them into the Company
  • Coordinate and deliver training, such as interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance review, safety, and sexual harassment
  • Provide HR data reports as required by the business
  • Support the recruiting process by drafting job offers, maintaining and updating job descriptions, and coordinating job postings and advertisements
  • Support the exit process by ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed and issued at termination, conducting exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations
  • Develop and update company policies
  • Assist in administering benefit programs, including annual open enrollment process and maintain accurate records through all areas of HR
  • Perform other related duties as assigned


QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent AND at least 1 year of relevant Human Resources or recruiting experience OR Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or other relevant field.
  • HR Certificate or specialized training in the HR field, such as SHRM or HRCI certification preferred
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry a plus
  • Ability to work with confidential information and maintain confidentiality
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Knowledge of federal and state labor laws and Human Resources best practices
  • Must have the ability to organize and prioritize projects in a fast-paced changing business environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Spanish language proficiency a plus
