Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a freight broker or in a related logistics role.
- Strong knowledge of transportation regulations, freight brokerage processes, and industry best practices.
- Proficiency with transportation management systems (TMS) and freight tracking software.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience working with diverse freight types including LTL, FTL, and specialized cargo.
- Familiarity with carrier safety ratings and compliance standards such as FMCSA regulations.
- Proven track record of managing high-volume freight accounts and complex logistics projects.
- Advanced skills in data analysis and reporting tools to support decision-making.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with carriers, shippers, and clients to facilitate freight movement.
- Negotiate rates and contracts with carriers to secure the best possible pricing and service terms.
- Coordinate and monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery and compliance with all regulations.
- Manage and resolve any transportation issues, delays, or disputes that may occur during the shipping process.
- Analyze market trends and logistics data to optimize routing, reduce costs, and improve service efficiency.

- Maintain accurate records of shipments, contracts, and communications in compliance with company policies and industry standards.
