Job DescriptionPosition Description: The Strategic Procurement Lead supports cross-functional sourcing and purchasing strategies that ensure clinical, nutritional, and operational products are available to support optimal patient outcomes. This role partners closely with Inventory, Finance, and Clinical leadership to forecast demand, analyze supply usage, evaluate vendors, and maintain appropriate stock levels while staying within budget. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical capabilities, vendor relationship management skills, and a healthcare-minded approach to procurement. This role reports to the Manager of Business Operations with a dotted line of accountability to the Clinical Leadership and Finance teams. This is a remote position open to candidates located in the states where we operate. Position Responsibilities: Partner with the inventory team to maintain appropriate stock levels across the clinical and nutritional product portfolio, including the supply and availability of medications available for clinics to administer to patientsWork with inventory analyst to ensure stock levels are maintained based on burn rate and needs.Monitor usage trends and coordinate with field teams to forecast demand accurately.Work with inventory analyst to ensure stock levels are maintained based on burn rate and needs.Analyze and adjust inventory planning strategies to support availability without overstock or disruption to patient care.Collaborate with clinical leadership to understand product needs across the patient journey.Research and source productsincluding medications, supplements, and clinical suppliesthat align with clinical protocols and patient outcomes.Ensure new items meet regulatory, clinical, and operational standards prior to implementation.Source options for clinical needs and manage multiple vendor relationships to ensure in-stock position and availabilityLead procurement-related financial analysis to assess cost trends, supplier performance, and pricing opportunities.Prepare regular reports for the finance team to ensure alignment on cost savings, procurement impact, and inventory capital planning.Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure sourcing initiatives and inventory investments remain within approved budget and scope.Support efforts to streamline purchasing workflows and improve vendor relationships.Assist in negotiating pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules in collaboration with inventory and finance leaders.Evaluate supplier performance and recommend improvements or alternatives when necessary.Act as a liaison between inventory, clinical, and finance teams to ensure strategic alignment.Support implementation of new products, vendor transitions, or procurement systems.Maintain documentation and SOPs related to procurement and sourcing processes. Required Education/Experience : Required Education/ Experience - Bachelors degree in supply chain management, Business, Finance, Healthcare Management, or a related field requiredor an equivalent combination of education and experience.Minimum of 3+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain analytics, or financial planning.Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and act on data.

Proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools; experience with ERP or inventory management systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP) a plus.

Physical Requirements: This is a hybrid position with standard office demands, including extended periods of computer use.

Occasional travel to clinical sites or vendor locations may be required.
