Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Accounting Clerk to join our team in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This is a contract position where you will play a key role in supporting financial operations, ensuring accuracy in data entry, and maintaining efficient accounts payable and receivable processes. Responsibilities:
• Assist the Accounting Supervisor with daily financial tasks and operations.
• Accurately input financial data into QuickBooks Online and other accounting systems.
• Process invoices and manage accounts payable (AP) to ensure timely payments.
• Handle accounts receivable (AR) tasks, including payment collection and record maintenance.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel to create, update, and analyze spreadsheets with formulas.
• Perform regular audits to verify the accuracy of financial records.
• Maintain organized documentation for accounting transactions and reports.
• Support month-end and year-end financial processes as needed.
• Address and resolve discrepancies within financial records or transactions.• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an accounting or financial role.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online for managing financial data.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to work with complex formulas.
• Familiarity with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Ability to organize and maintain financial records effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills for identifying and resolving discrepancies.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
