Our client who is in the manufacturing space is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team in office in Stuart. This company has an amazing culture lead by amazing leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and verify invoices and check requests
- Sort, code, and match invoices to purchase orders
- Enter and upload invoices into the accounting system
- Track expenses and process expense reports
- Prepare and perform check runs, wire transfers, and ACH payments
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions and vendor statements
- Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
- Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
- Maintain vendor files and ensure proper documentation
- Assist in month-end closing by providing accounts payable reports and accruals
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
- Respond to vendor inquiries in a professional and timely manner
Requirements:
- Proven working experience in accounts payable or a similar finance role
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, NetSuite, etc.)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills
