As a Warehouse Worker, you will play a crucial role in the production of gutters by operating slitter machines to process steel coils of aluminum. You will be responsible for setting up and adjusting the machine with the correct product dimensions, loading aluminum coils onto the machine, inspecting for defects, and moving processed aluminum to the next step in the manufacturing process. This position requires standing for most of the shift and may require operating a sit-down forklift.
Responsibilities
- Operate slitter machine used to process steel coils of aluminum in the production of gutters.
- Set up and adjust machine with correct product dimensions.
- Load aluminum coils on the machine.
- Inspect for defects.
- Move processed aluminum to the next step in the manufacturing process, typically an inventory location.
- Stand for most of the shift.
- Operate sit-down forklift if required.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in machine operation.
- Ability to use a tape measure.
- Basic math skills.
- Industrial machine operating experience is preferred.
- Experience with slitter machines and troubleshooting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with metal processing, slitter machines, and roll forming machines is a plus.
- Machine troubleshooting and maintenance experience is a plus.

Work Environment
The work environment is an open bay manufacturing warehouse that is clean and organized. It is non-climate controlled, with temperatures ranging from 80-100 degrees Fahrenheit. The dress code includes wearing pants, closed-toe shoes, and eye protection. You will be part of a team-based culture, working with 5-10 others, and cellphones are not allowed on the floor.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Clearwater, Florida.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
