Position Overview:

We are looking for a versatile and proactive generalist who thrives on variety and is eager to take on a wide range of responsibilities—from basic operational tasks to high-level strategic planning. This role is ideal for a doer who enjoys rolling up their sleeves and making things happen across all levels of complexity.

The Supply Chain Planning Manager will be responsible for end-to-end planning and coordination of pharmaceutical and medical device product manufacturing through third-party CMOs. This role ensures timely production, quality, and supply continuity by aligning demand forecasts, inventory targets, and manufacturing schedules across a network of external partners using toll manufacturing principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage the Master Production Schedule (MPS) for products manufactured at CMOs, ensuring alignment with demand plans, inventory targets, and contractual obligations.
  • Serve as the primary planning interface between internal stakeholders (e.g., Commercial, QA, Regulatory, Procurement) and CMOs to coordinate manufacturing timelines and mitigate supply risks.
  • Monitor and analyze capacity, lead times, and production constraints at CMOs; proactively escalate and resolve bottlenecks or deviations.
  • Lead monthly S&OP inputs related to toll manufacturing, including forecast accuracy, supply risk assessment, and capacity planning updates.
  • Collaborate with Quality and Regulatory teams to ensure compliance with GMP and market-specific release timelines during external production.
  • Manage new product launches and life cycle management projects cross-functionally and in coordination with CMO partners to ensure on-time, in-scope, and in-quality execution
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to external supply chain performance, planning systems, and CMO engagement models.
  • Maintain accurate planning data in ERP and planning systems (e.g., batch sizes, lead times, MOQ) for toll-manufactured products.
  • Support new product launch projects

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain management, with a focus on demand, supply planning and project management.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain processes, including supply planning, procurement, inventory management, transportation, and distribution.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive projects to successful completion within established timelines and budget constraints.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data and metrics to drive decision-making and process improvement initiatives.
