About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist with a strong background in construction accounting and AIA billing. This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about accuracy and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities

Process high-volume accounts payable invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.

Prepare and submit AIA billing applications and supporting documentation in compliance with contract terms.

Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.

Maintain organized records of all AP transactions and billing documentation.

Collaborate with project managers and subcontractors to ensure billing accuracy and compliance.

Assist with month-end close processes, including accruals and reporting.

Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Qualifications

3+ years of AP experience in the construction industry.

Strong knowledge of AIA billing procedures and lien waivers.

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage 300, Viewpoint, QuickBooks, or similar).

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
Pay Details: $60,000.00 to $70,000.00 per year
