Position Summary:

The Powersports Sales Associate is responsible for guiding customers through the purchase process of motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, PWCs, and related products. This role requires excellent communication skills, product knowledge, and a customer-first attitude to build long-term relationships and deliver an exceptional buying experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and engage customers promptly, creating a welcoming environment.
  • Assess customer needs and recommend appropriate units, accessories, and protection products.
  • Present and demonstrate features and benefits of motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, PWCs, and other powersports products.
  • Effectively explain financing, warranties, and service options.
  • Negotiate pricing and terms to ensure customer satisfaction while meeting dealership sales goals.
  • Maintain accurate and complete sales records in the CRM system.
  • Conduct thorough follow-up with leads and sold customers to drive repeat and referral business.
  • Stay current on manufacturer promotions, product features, and industry trends.
  • Assist with showroom presentation, unit displays, and inventory management.
  • Collaborate with finance, service, and parts departments to ensure a smooth customer experience.
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and performance metrics.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Previous sales experience preferred (powersports, automotive, or retail).
  • Passion for motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, or related powersports products.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to build rapport quickly and maintain customer relationships.
  • Basic understanding of financing and sales contracts.
  • Highly motivated, goal-driven, and able to work in a team environment.
  • Computer literacy and familiarity with CRM systems.
  • Valid driver’s license with motorcycle endorsement preferred, but not required
