Position Summary:
The Powersports Sales Associate is responsible for guiding customers through the purchase process of motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, PWCs, and related products. This role requires excellent communication skills, product knowledge, and a customer-first attitude to build long-term relationships and deliver an exceptional buying experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and engage customers promptly, creating a welcoming environment.
- Assess customer needs and recommend appropriate units, accessories, and protection products.
- Present and demonstrate features and benefits of motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, PWCs, and other powersports products.
- Effectively explain financing, warranties, and service options.
- Negotiate pricing and terms to ensure customer satisfaction while meeting dealership sales goals.
- Maintain accurate and complete sales records in the CRM system.
- Conduct thorough follow-up with leads and sold customers to drive repeat and referral business.
- Stay current on manufacturer promotions, product features, and industry trends.
- Assist with showroom presentation, unit displays, and inventory management.
- Collaborate with finance, service, and parts departments to ensure a smooth customer experience.
- Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and performance metrics.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous sales experience preferred (powersports, automotive, or retail).
- Passion for motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, or related powersports products.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to build rapport quickly and maintain customer relationships.
- Basic understanding of financing and sales contracts.
- Highly motivated, goal-driven, and able to work in a team environment.
- Computer literacy and familiarity with CRM systems.
- Valid driver’s license with motorcycle endorsement preferred, but not required
