Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-driven Portfolio Specialist to support the Portfolio Management team at a privately held investment firm. This role focuses on the smooth execution of all non-trading processes, providing administrative and operational support for Ultra High Net Worth clients. The Portfolio Specialist serves as a primary point of contact for service-related needs and must handle sensitive information with absolute discretion. Significant long-term growth potential is available for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a liaison between clients and external banking partners to resolve operational and service-related issues.
- Open new accounts with multiple financial institutions; review subscription documents and prepare due-diligence materials.
- Deliver exceptional service on client requests, inquiries, and transactions with accuracy and timeliness.
- Collaborate with internal teams—including Portfolio Managers, Operations, Accounting, Office Management, and Executive Assistants—to ensure seamless workflows.
- Maintain strict adherence to compliance and documentation protocols.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Excellent organizational, project management, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proven ability to multi-task, follow up consistently, and manage competing priorities.
- Spanish fluency strongly preferred (written and verbal).
