Job Description: Commercial Camera and Access Control Service Technician and Installers



Supervisor: Service Manager



Position Summary:

Commercial Only Service or Installation of IP based Cloud and on-premises Camera Systems, Access Control Systems, Burglar Alarm Systems. Primary brands include Avigilon, Verkada, Honeywell, and DMP.

Key Responsibilities:

· Commercial Service and Installation of IP Camera Systems, Access Control and Burglar Alarm Systems.· Repair equipment utilizing knowledge of electronics and using standard test instruments and hand tools.· Use solid troubleshooting skills to isolate and fix problems in malfunctioning equipment or software.· Consult with AT&I technical support personnel to resolve unusual problems in system operation, maintenance, and warranty work.· Complete accurate and detailed service reports for customers and AT&I promptly to allow for accurate invoicing and job cost tracking.· Acts as our customers' best service provider to ensure that AT&I Systems is the customers' first choice for service.· Executes all service calls in accordance with Federal, State, and local regulations as well as company health and safety policies and procedures · May advise management regarding customer satisfaction, product performance, installation techniques, and standards as well as suggestions for product improvements.











Knowledge and Skills

· 3+ years servicing Commercial Security Cameras and Access Control Systems preferred.· High School diploma required; Military training in electronics or Technical School certification is preferred.· Solid technical skills and experience servicing/installing security cameras, access controls, and alarm systems.· Experience with Avigilon, Verkada, Honeywell and DMP is a plus.· Ability to maintain awareness of and seek to meet the needs and wants of the customer without being prompted.· To be a self-starter and work well with minimal supervision.· Solid mechanical and electrical aptitude (e.g. works with a variety of hand and power tools such as a drill, screwdriver, wire stripper, hacksaw, crimper).· A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.· Ability to travel locally to job sites regularly.
