Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Truck Driver Instructor to join our instructional team. This role involves delivering classroom education, range exercises, and on-the-road training while ensuring the highest safety and compliance standards are upheld.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide classroom instruction on CDL knowledge, safety regulations, and best practices.

• Conduct hands-on training on driving ranges and public roads.

• Mentor, guide, and coach students to develop their driving skills and professional mindset.

• Enforce and model all safety standards and procedures.

• Evaluate student performance, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate training records.

• Prepare students for written tests, skills assessments, and road examinations.

• Maintain professionalism and foster a supportive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record.

• Minimum of 3 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.

• Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and state CDL requirements.

• Prior teaching or training experience preferred, but not required (training provided).

• Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring skills.
