Summary/Objective
Process all incoming agents’ reports, reconcile, close, and send discrepancy letters as needed. Monitor accounts receivables to ensure payments are received. Individually manage after-hours transfer bond calls and agents’ requests for assistance.
Essential Functions
Report/Batch Process/Resolution: 90%
- Picking up and opening mail
- Taking out transfer bonds, large bonds, etc. paperwork
- Recognizing correct reports and prepping them for Batch Set Up, Scanning, Cash Entry, Batch Reconciliation, and Rewrites.
- Key batches with 10 powers or under
- Closing batches and assuring month end is completed on time.
- Communicating with agents about a discrepancy within the report received
Transfer Bonds: 5%
- Process incoming transfer bonds: set up transfer bonds in BSMS; locate a posting agent; document all phone calls.
- Oversee and maintain communication with the requesting and posting agents until the transaction is completed.
- Update BSMS and close any unwritten requests.
On-Call Duty: 5%
- Use a cell phone and laptop to work independently out-of-office.
- Responsible for the following: Answer and handle transfer bond calls. Respond to agents’ requests for assistance.
- Research and make decisions regarding the borrowing of powers between agents.
- Handle other agency issues of concern.
Required Education and Experience
- High school diploma/GED
- 3+ years of Customer Service
- 2+ years of Basic Accounting math skills
- 3+ years of Office and Computer literacy
- 3+ years working in a team setting
Preferred Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree; working knowledge of internal bail procedures.
