PBACO is seeking a Business Analyst, Analytics & Insights to transform complex healthcare data into clear, actionable insights for executives, leadership, and our Board. You’ll design reports and dashboards, identify trends, highlight opportunities, and help leaders make data-driven decisions that impact thousands of patients.
This is a hands-on, high-visibility role in a growing healthcare organization where your work will directly support quality improvement, performance goals, and strategic priorities.
What You’ll Do

Build & Maintain Dashboards – Create clear, accurate reports using Excel, SQL, and Power BI for all payors and departments.

Deliver Executive-Ready Insights – Summarize key trends, outliers, and “what/why/so-what” takeaways with recommended actions.

Support Leadership Decisions – Prepare high-impact visuals and summaries for Board meetings, executive reviews, and monthly performance updates.

Ensure Data Quality – Validate all data, follow reconciliation procedures, and maintain accuracy standards above 98%.

Document & Standardize – Keep metric definitions, data dictionaries, and SOPs updated and version-controlled.

Collaborate Across Teams – Partner with Quality, Finance, Network, and IT to turn analytics into measurable results.
What You’ll Bring

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Health Informatics, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred).

Experience: 2–4 years in healthcare analytics or a similar role; experience preparing executive or board-level reporting is a plus.

Technical Skills:

Advanced Excel (Power Query, pivots, formulas)

Strong SQL querying and optimization skills

Power BI (preferred); Python experience a plus

Soft Skills: Analytical mindset, attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to explain data to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Other: Knowledge of healthcare data (ICD-10, CPT/HCPCS) a plus. Must maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA standards.
