Job Title: Front of House Floater/Host/Hostess/Barback

Department: Front of House

Reports to: Tap Room Manager

Supervisory Responsibility: No

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

$13.00/hr + Tips

Job Summary

We are seeking a versatile and motivated individual to join our Front of House team as a Float. The Float will be responsible for supporting various roles within the restaurant, including food running, bussing tables, and hosting, as needed and barebacking. This position requires a proactive team player with excellent customer service skills and the ability to adapt to different tasks quickly.

Essential Functions:

• Promptly deliver each course as it is prepared to the correct table and in order

• Communicate clearly any additional orders or needs the guests may have to expeditor or sever

• Serve water to guests and refilling beverage glasses as needed

• Place and replace silverware as needed

• Deliver beverages from the bartender-if of legal age

• Answer guest questions or listen to their concerns

• Remove guests’ dirty dishes and utensils in a timely manner

• Deliver used dishes and utensils to the kitchen for cleaning

• Immediately sanitize tables and chairs and reset menus for seating of new guests

• Direct guests to their seats, take reservations, & answering phones

• Aid bartenders in bar area with washing dishes, getting clean glassware, serving drinks

Qualifications

• Some restaurant experience is preferred.
• Communication skills
• Phone etiquette
• basic knowledge of food and beverage service standards
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• Positive attitude and mindset
• Customer service skills

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age to serve alcohol
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds
• Ability work in a standing position for extended periods of time
• Ability to reach, bend, stoop, step, squat
