Employment Solutions is looking for a Tech Savvy Logistics Cargo Data Entry Clerk for a well-established cargo and distribution company in the Port Everglades area. Our client provides services from the U.S. mainland and the Bahamas and Turks and Caicos. Our client has been in business for over 25 years and is looking for a committed individual to add to their team. The ideal person should possess strong communication skills, be tech-savvy, dependable, and demonstrate initiative. Attention to detail and experience in fast-paced, high-volume operations are also essential in this role.
Hours - 1st and 2nd shift
Monday to Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm - $18.00 per hour
Monday - Friday 4:30am-12:30am - $19.00 per hour
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receives, prints, and distributes load guides
- Assist in pulling cargo and loading to meet daily goals
- Reports deck cargo, short shipments/damages in a timely/efficient manner
- Updates and distributes load guides “in priority” daily
- Communicates efficiently with Loading Leader Yard/M&R on the needs of equipment, and accessorial supplies
- Verifies all cargo is scanned in each load guide
- Provides necessary documents for drivers to shuttle OTR and creates equipment labels
Skills:
- Detailed Oriented and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to communicate in English-both written and verbally
- Microsoft Office, Advanced Data Entry Skills
