Job Summary:
This is a full-time, in person (100% on site) in our beautiful West Palm Beach office. This position reporting to the Product Operations Manager. As a UX/UI Designer you will play a pivotal role in crafting intuitive and delightful digital experiences for the MyBambu customers. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers, Developers, and Marketing, to design user-centric interfaces and ensure a seamless user experience across our MyBambu platform.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather insights to understand user needs, pain points, and behavior.
- Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to communicate design ideas and user flows effectively.
- Design engaging, accessible, and visually appealing interfaces for web and mobile platforms, adhering to brand guidelines.
- Work closely with Product and Development teams to ensure designs are feasible, align with MyBambu business goals and meet user needs.
- Develop and maintain a design system to ensure consistency across all MyBambu products and MyBambu platforms.
- Conduct usability testing, gather feedback, and iterate on designs to improve the overall user experience.
- Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and best practices to bring fresh ideas to the team.
- Ensure designs comply with accessibility standards and guidelines to provide an inclusive user experience.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Figma expert mastery in components, auto-layout, variants, and design systems.
- Ability to think outside the box and generate innovative design solutions for complex challenges.
- Strong ability to empathize with users and design solutions that meet their needs and expectations.
- Strong problem-solving ability with a focus on analyzing user behavior and making data-driven design decisions.
- High level of precision in design work to ensure seamless user interactions and interface consistency.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and incorporate feedback into design iterations.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to adjust designs based on evolving user needs and business goals.
- Familiarity with WCAG guidelines to create inclusive designs for all users.
- Comfortable working withproduct managers, engineers, and marketingto align design with business goals.
- Strongdocumentation skillsfor handoff to developers.
- Ability todefend design decisions with data and researchrather than personal preference.
- Mobile-first mindset proven experience designing for mobile apps before scaling to desktop/web.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic understanding of front-end development is a plus.
- Strong understanding ofhuman-centered design principlesand accessibility standards (WCAG).
- Familiarity withdesigning for cross-platform consistency(iOS, Android, web).
- Prototyping skills ability to create interactive prototypes for user testing and stakeholder presentations.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in UX Design, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, preferred.
- Five years experience as a UX/UI Designer, preferably in fintech or digital banking.
- Experience creatingend-to-end UI flows, from wireframes to pixel-perfect designs.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
