Your Opportunity
We're seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join our team in either Fort Lauderdale, FL or West Palm Beach, FL. In this role, you'll lead and participate in audit engagements, ensuring compliance with departmental standards and timely completion. You'll oversee audit execution, train and mentor staff, and assess audit quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and participate in complex audit engagements.
- Ensure all audit activities comply with Audit Department standards.
- Manage audit schedules and deliverables.
- Supervise, direct, train, and mentor audit staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Maintain strong, professional relationships with senior client management.
- Contribute to the development of Audit Department policies and practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficiency in standard auditing practices and procedures, GAAS, GAAP, and FASB regulations.
- Working knowledge of the Internal Revenue Code.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to conduct effective interviews.
- Adept at utilizing available resources to complete projects efficiently.
- Computer literate with the ability to document and record audit findings.
- Familiarity with overall company operations and understanding inter-departmental correlations.
