Job Summary:
The Overdraft Solutions Specialist I is responsible for collecting overdrawn member shares as assigned. This role will assists members in developing a plan to bring their accounts current, identify and escalate potential collection problems, and suggest methods to avoid losses.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for working accounts that have been overdrawn for 15-45 days as assigned.
- Provide counsel to members and discuss alternate financial arrangements.
- Refer cases to Certified Financial Counselors as appropriate.
- Discontinue and reinstate Courtesy Pay limits in accordance with Board policy and department procedures.
- Create and execute Repayment Plans as applicable.
- Ensure Repayment Plans are paid as agreed.
- Refer cases to Legal Solutions Specialists as appropriate.
- Ensure daily and monthly productivity standards are met.
- Ensure cases are worked in compliance with state and federal laws, and in accordance with departmental standards.
- Provide overrides for account access and processing teller transactions.
- Process account number changes as requested.
- Worked closed account reports.
- Conduct limited skip tracing as needed.
- Adhere to charge-off timing requirements.
- Assist with researching and resolving credit bureau disputes as requested.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Associate's Degree or equivalent combination preferred
- Prior experience in a similar role.
