We are looking for a team player in the position of Deposit Operations Specialist to join our growing team!

Responsible for performing a variety of opening accounts and providing certain account maintenance duties related to the DMS activities for the Bank.

Primary Duties

· Responsible for Consumer and Commercial new account openings including Certificates of Deposit.

· Responsible for creating CIF records for all new consumer and commercial accounts as well as Lines of Credit.

· Responsible for Commercial account maintenance, which includes, BSA and/or Front office requests, title changes, adding and/or removing signors, adding and/or removing beneficial owners and placing alerts on Estate Accounts.

· Responsible for Consumer account maintenances which includes, adding and/or removing signors, adding, and removing beneficiaries.

· Responsible for revising existing Funds Transfer Agreements per customer’s request.

· Responsible for running OFAC searches for al partis on new consumer and commercial accounts.

· Responsible for running Bizcheck for new and existing consumer and business accounts, when required.

· Cursory review of new consumer and commercial account documentation, as well as data input, prior to submitting to BSA for their review and approval.

· Provides monthly statistical information about daily functions processed.

· Indexing of new and existing account documentation in Synergy.

Qualification Requirements

Education and/or Experience

· Associate degree

· One (1) to two (2) years of related experience

Language Skills

· Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization in both English and Spanish.

· Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence and memos.

Other Skills and Abilities

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

-Excellent organizational skills.

· Ability to operate a personal computer, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

· High regard to the importance of confidentially.

· Professional and service-oriented.

· Extensive background in the Bank’s policies, procedures, and banking regulations (State and Federal government).

Job Type: Full-time

Expected hours: 40 per week
