WHAT YOULL DO

As our Aftermarket Inside Sales Representative, youll be a key contributor in helping to bring the Seakeeper Ride magic to new boat owners! Well look to you as an expert to educate potential customers on our products and help the company reach new heights. Youll leverage marketing data to seek out new customers who have not yet experienced Seakeeper Ride and facilitate sales. Youll work with our Aftermarket sales team to drive business through the following:

  • Contacting boat owners who do not know about Seakeeper Ride, educating them about our products, and generating new sales opportunities
  • Managing inbound leads, answering product questions, and working with Regional Aftermarket team members to facilitate customer demonstrations and sales
  • Creatively finding new ways to reach potential customers through phone and email outreach
  • Collaborating with the Marketing team to create innovative ways to generate new aftermarket leads
  • Managing and updating customer interactions and contact lists in our internal CRM system, NetSuite

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED

MUST-HAVES

  • Bachelors degree in business or a similar related field
  • A minimum of one year of sales experience
  • A demonstrated ability to create reports, memos, and professional PowerPoint using Microsoft Office Suite
  • Exceptional customer service, interpersonal skills, and empathetic style
  • A competitive and resilient attitude
  • A high level of organization and resourcefulness
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with excellent presentation skills

NICE-TO-HAVES

  • Experience using a CRM system, such as NetSuite, or a similar related system
  • Experience working in a call center as a sales representative
  • Boating experience and knowledge of the Marine Industry

MORE DETAILS YOU'LL WANT TO KNOW

  • Youll work in-person 5 days a week at our Fort Myers, FL office
  • Youll report to the Director of Sales and Support, also based in FL
  • There is no travel associated with this role

YOUR TEAM

Our Aftermarket Inside Sales Representative role lives within our Aftermarket Team, which is a part of our Sales and Service department. Our team structure allows our Sales and Support teams to collaborate and work cohesively to provide the best experience to our Seakeeper Ride Dealer partners and end users.
