Our firm is seeking a Sr. Accountant who has knowledge or the desire to learn Corporate Tax Preparation. We use QuickBooks Online and Desktop for client write-up and ProSeries tax software for tax preparation. We are a small firm with a family atmosphere. We work as a team and are looking for a team-player. This position will oversee a Jr. Accountant and the year-end preparation of 1099-NEC, 1099-Misc, and W-2 forms for our clients. This position requires you to have excellent interpersonal skills both written and oral as you will be communicating with clients for various issues or financial planning. Day to day operations include:
- Preparing and/or overseeing client write-up.
- Reviewing and Reconciling general ledger, which requires experience in extensive knowledge of Cash and Accrual basis of accounting.
- Strong organization skills
- Strong technical skills
- Preparing Corporate 1120, 1120S, 1065 Tax Forms
- Preparing State Income Tax Forms when applicable
Requirements:
- 2-6 years experience
- BBA or BBS in Accounting
- CPA or CPA Candidate
- Proficient in Quick Books and Excel
- Pro Series Tax Software Experience preferred but not required
- Ability to meet deadlines and multi-task
