Who We're Looking For
We’re actively hiring for several Account Manager positions!
Account Managers are responsible for growing revenue by selling products daily to customers. We want:
· Passionate product experts and students of the retail business
· Individuals with a strong ability to promote and present
· Proven prospectors of new business, accounts, and product categories
Ideal candidates have experience working with:
· Dollar Stores / Fixed-Price Retailers
· Grocery Chains
· Commercial & Industrial Buyers, including:
- Hospitals & Medical Facilities
- Nursing Homes & Adult Living Facilities
- Restaurants
- Factories
Account Manager Expectations
Your mission is to generate sales and profitability through assigned channels and expand the customer base while maintaining professionalism, partnership, and teamwork.
Senior Account Manager – Role & Responsibilities
1. Know Your Customer
o Shop in stores, review websites, social media, apps, circulars
o Track endcaps, seasonality, pricing, and brand presence
o Build strong, ongoing relationships with Buyers and DMMs
o Identify customer gaps and product needs
2. Planning
o Develop annual sales strategies, forecasts, and budgets
3. Market Knowledge
o Understand your customers’ competitors
o Comp shop, find trends, and attend industry trade shows
4. Daily Selling
o Review available UNCS product
o Curate, package, and pitch to customers
o Follow up, negotiate, and close sales
5. Business Development
o Prospect for new opportunities and accounts
6. Communication
o Collaborate closely with Buyers and share customer needs clearly
7. SOP & Tech Tools
o Learn and follow internal procedures and platforms
o Report to the Director of Revenue
