Dukunoo Jamaican Kitchen in Miami, FL is looking for one food expeditor to join our 70+ person strong team. We are located on 316 Nw 24th St. Our ideal candidate is an efficient, self-starter, punctual, and adequately engaged. We're looking for a reliable, robust personality with keen and organized characteristics , someone who will work well with our team.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate food orders between kitchen and servers to ensure accuracy and timeliness
- Check plates for presentation, portion, and quality before they leave the kitchen
- Communicate clearly and strongly with both BOH and FOH staff to keep service flowing smoothly
- Manage ticket times and prioritize orders during peak hours
- Assist with organizing garnishes, condiments, and order staging
- Support team members to maintain a clean, efficient expo line
- Ensuring a clean and fully stocked work station at all times
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred (expo, server, or kitchen roles) 2yrs+
- Strong communication and multitasking skills, works well under pressure
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced high energy environment
- Attention to detail and commitment to food quality standards
- Reliable, punctual, and team‑oriented
- Can coordinate with team and if necessary guests with professionalism
