The Role:


We are seeking an experienced and skilled Finance Manager to join our team. The Manager of Finance is strategic member of the Finance organization responsible for supporting the senior leadership on company financial performance to ensure key metrics and expected returns on investment are achieved. This individual will oversee reporting and analysis of company-wide profitability and managed working capital, responsible for financial modeling needed to support key decisions for achieving the Company’s long-range financial goals and strategies, and identify areas of focus for the management and operational teams. This is an opportunity for a long term position and to join a growing company.


Responsibilities

  • Excellent leadership ability, strong financial acumen, and the ability to work well under pressure
  • Foster a high integrity business culture and a goal-oriented, accountable work environment
  • Daily Bank Reconciliation
  • Daily Bank Funding and Positive Pay Approvals
  • Weekly Positive Pay Upload
  • Weekly Accounts Payable Approvals on Purchases less than $20,000
  • Recording and managing of Journal Entries
  • Monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliations
  • Upkeep of Asset/Depreciation Schedule, communication with internal and external teams
  • Accounting assistance as directed by the Controller or RVP

Requirements and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or another related field is required, or 5+ years of experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Construction POC/ WIP reporting experience required
  • Construction Accounting experience required
  • Comprehensive financial analysis skills
  • Advanced Excel modeling skills required
  • Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to build and utilize teams to resolve complex problems
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Strong decision-making skills; the ability to influence internal customers
