Job DescriptionJob Title: A/P Manager Location: US-FL North Lauderdale Pay: $30-$33.65/hour Overview Lead the Accounts Payable function and a supervising team to deliver financial, administrative, and clerical support. You'll control costs, reconcile invoices, record expenses, and process payments on time while driving accuracy, compliance, and process improvements across AP. Responsibilities

  • Process vendor payments on time per vendor terms
  • Capture prompt-pay discounts when applicable
  • Resolve GRNI aged items and out-of-balance transactions
  • Process vendor credits and reconcile intercompany transactions
  • Maintain organized, accurate accounting records
  • Identify missing taxes on supplier invoices and upload to the tax system for filing
  • Assist with audit requests
  • Ensure payments are applied per remittance; contact vendors for discrepancies and issue resolution
  • Prepare 1099 miscellaneous tax forms and collect/maintain W-9 forms
  • Initiate ACH and wire payments
  • Set up and maintain vendor master records
  • Prepare AP reconciliations; review expenses for potential capitalization
  • Monitor outstanding checks and complete due diligence for unclaimed property
  • Process employee expense reports and provide coding for GL upload
  • Maintain internal controls and procedures
  • Develop KPIs and prepare monthly reporting
  • Improve communication with other departments (e.g., Purchasing)
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • SAP (ECC) required
  • 7+ years of Accounts Payable experience (lead or manager level)
  • 5+ years supervising AP staff
  • AA or certificate in Accounting preferred
  • Strong computer skills: Microsoft Excel & Word
  • Strength in problem solving, cross-functional collaboration, and issue resolution (payments, invoices, regional backup)
  • Broader SAP experience beyond ECC is a plus

Pay Details: $30.00 to $33.65 per hour
