We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Lien Reduction Specialist with a background in workers’ compensation to join our growing team.

Position Overview:
The Lien Reduction Specialist will be responsible for negotiating and resolving medical provider liens in workers’ compensation cases. This role requires a strong understanding of California workers’ compensation law, medical billing, and lien resolution processes. The ideal candidate will have excellent negotiation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced remote environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze medical provider liens and related documentation.

  • Negotiate lien reductions directly with medical providers, collection agencies, and lien claimants.

  • Prepare settlement agreements and ensure compliance with California workers’ compensation regulations.

  • Communicate with attorneys, case managers, and other team members regarding lien status and case strategy.

  • Maintain accurate records of lien negotiations, reductions, and settlements.

  • Meet firm deadlines and productivity goals while ensuring quality and accuracy in all work.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience as a lien reduction specialist, lien negotiator, or related role in workers’ compensation law.

  • In-depth knowledge of California workers’ compensation law and lien resolution practices.

  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously.

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

  • Proficiency with legal case management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred:

  • Based in California (to align with time zone, providers, and state-specific practices).

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
