We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our small, boutique firm in West Palm Beach, Florida. In this role, you will sit at the client's front desk - serving as the first point of contact for all clients visiting the office.
Responsibilities:
• Process and manage accounts receivable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations to maintain up-to-date financial records.
• Utilize QuickBooks software to record and organize financial data.
• Handle bookkeeping tasks, including tracking expenses and maintaining ledgers.
• Prepare and issue billing statements to clients in a timely manner.
• Assist with financial reporting and provide support for audits.
• Coordinate with team members to resolve discrepancies in financial records.
• Maintain organized documentation for all financial activities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
• Provide administrative support to the office. i.e. answering phones, scanning, customer service, etc.
• Proven experience in accounts receivable management and bank reconciliations.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks software is required.
• Strong background in bookkeeping and financial recordkeeping.
• Ability to handle billing tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent multitasking skills and ability to prioritize workload.
• Familiarity with accounting principles and practices.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients.
