As a Title Processor, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate title searches, preparing necessary documentation, and facilitating the closing process for real estate transactions. You will work closely with attorneys, real estate agents, lenders, and clients to ensure that all transactions are executed smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough title searches and summarize findings for review.
- Prepare and review title reports and commitments for accuracy.
- Coordinate with attorneys and other stakeholders to resolve title discrepancies.
- Facilitate the closing process by ensuring all necessary documents are prepared and accurate.
- Maintain organized records of transactions and documents throughout the title process.
- Communicate effectively with clients, lenders, and real estate agents to ensure smooth transactions.
- Stay updated on relevant industry regulations and best practices regarding title processing.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Prior experience as a title processor or in a similar role in real estate is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of title insurance policies and real estate procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for client interactions.
- Proficiency in title processing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
