We are looking for a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Weston, Florida, on a contract-to-hire basis. In this role, you will oversee the entire order fulfillment process, ensuring smooth operations from receipt to delivery. This position is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and a passion for providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
• Manage sales order processing by monitoring orders from receipt to final delivery.
• Coordinate transportation routes and trucking logistics to ensure timely and efficient delivery.
• Collaborate with the sales team and customers to provide exceptional customer service throughout the order lifecycle.
• Communicate with trucking companies and cold storage facilities to arrange pickups and deliveries.
• Track and follow up on orders to ensure they are delivered as scheduled.
• Submit necessary documentation to the accounting department after order completion.
• Utilize company-specific software and CRM tools to maintain accurate order records and streamline processes.
• Work with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook and Excel, to organize and report logistics data.
• Provide consistent follow-through to resolve any issues that arise during the shipping process.
• At least 1 year of experience in logistics, distribution, or a related field.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to work collaboratively with sales teams and clients.
• Proficiency in data entry and logistics tracking.
• Familiarity with transportation coordination and shipping functions.
• Technical proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook and Excel.
• Ability to learn and adapt to industry-specific software and CRM programs.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to effectively manage logistics operations.
