Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Office Manager to oversee daily operations at our endocrinology practice. The ideal candidate will work closely with the provider to ensure smooth office functioning and exceptional patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work hand-in-hand with the provider to implement practice policies and procedures
  • Oversee all office staff, including supervision, scheduling, and performance evaluations
  • Develop and conduct training programs for new and existing staff members
  • Manage payroll processing and timecard administration for all staff
  • Handle insurance verifications, billing inquiries, and network participation
  • Coordinate with insurance representatives regarding contracts, credentialing, and rate negotiations
  • Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA
  • Schedule and coordinate annual staff training requirements
  • Manage patient communications and resolve complex patient concerns
  • Maintain office supplies and equipment
  • Prepare professional correspondence and manage email communications
  • Pay and process monthly invoices and bills

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in medical office management, preferably in a specialty practice
  • Excellent communication skills in English (bilingual Spanish/English highly preferred)
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Proficiency with electronic health records systems and medical office software
  • Experience with insurance billing, coding, and contract negotiations
  • Knowledge of healthcare compliance requirements, including HIPAA and OSHA
  • Leadership experience and ability to train and develop staff
