We are looking for an experienced Controller to join our team in Tampa, Florida. The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of financial operations, including accounting, payroll, and financial reporting. This role requires leadership skills to manage a team effectively and ensure accurate and timely delivery of financial information.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the month-end closing process, ensuring all financial statements are accurate and completed on time.
• Oversee accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and payroll to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Manage and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering growth and collaboration.
• Prepare and analyze comprehensive financial packages and reports for senior management.
• Implement and maintain accounting software systems to streamline financial processes.
• Conduct audits to verify financial accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Develop and monitor budgets, providing insights to improve financial performance.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure alignment on financial goals and strategies.
• Utilize CRM and reporting tools, such as Crystal Reports, to generate detailed financial data.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls and best practices in financial management.
