Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Product Manager to join our fintech team. In this role, you will be responsible for defining, documenting, and delivering product requirements while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution. You will report directly to the Product Operations Manager and play a critical role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and define clear product requirements and create comprehensive Business Requirement Documents (BRDs).
- Translate business needs into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria for development teams.
- Manage the product backlog, prioritize features, and ensure alignment with strategic goals.
- Work closely with engineering, design, QA, and operations teams to deliver product releases on time and within scope.
- Monitor product performance post-launch and gather feedback to drive continuous improvement.
- Support the Product Operations Manager in process optimization, reporting, and product lifecycle management.
- Coordinate with compliance, risk, and customer support teams to ensure regulatory and customer experience standards are met.
- Assist in stakeholder communication by providing regular status updates, roadmaps, and risk assessments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in product management, preferably in fintech or financial services.
- Strong experience writing Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and user stories.
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and product lifecycle management.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
Preferred:
- Experience working with fintech platforms, payment systems, or digital banking products.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements in financial services.
- Knowledge of project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar
