OVERVIEW:

Human Resources Manager is responsible for the planning, development, implementation, and administration of the human resources function for the Company. This position will regularly interact with executives and all other levels of the management and employees within the organization. The HR Manager will lead HR related, companywide initiatives and will be responsible for developing effective HR strategies to address the business needs. HR manager will also be responsible for regulatory compliance

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage all functional Human Resources areas: employee relations, employee and manager coaching, training and development program design and implementation, payroll, recruiting, regulatory compliance, benefit administration.
  • Responsible for HR metrics reporting, trend and need assessment and making recommendations to the executive team on effective HR strategies to meet business needs.
  • Provide direction and support to the HR department.
  • Serve as the company expert on all federal, state, and local laws and regulations and ensure all HR policies and practices are in compliance with specific legal requirements.
  • Develop the best practices and process improvement.
  • Maintain company’s Employee Handbook, HR forms, records, and employee files in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Advise management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues. Respond to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and benefit programs.
  • Responsible for workers’ compensation claim management, OSHA reporting.
  • Responsible for devising and implementing employee training programs. Administer performance review program to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within organization. Administer salary administration program to ensure compliance and equity within organization.
  • Act as employee advocate.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Demonstrated understanding and experience with the application of the State and Federal employment regulations.
  • Demonstrated application and implementation of progressive HR practices
  • Very strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Strong relationship skills with all levels of management in a fast paced and growth/changing environment.
  • Proven success in coaching, counseling, facilitating, and training multiple levels of management and staff.
  • Experience working both independently an in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Demonstrated the ability to lead and manage others
  • Strong interpersonal, project management, and mentoring skills
  • Ability to make decisions in a rapidly growing, professional, service-oriented environment
  • Must be able to perform job responsibilities with minimal or no supervision.
  • Must be able to work quickly and efficiently in order meet deadlines.
  • Qualified candidates must be extremely detail oriented.
  • Ability to preserve confidential and sensitive information.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR, business or related field is required.
  • Qualified candidates must have a minimum of five years of Human Resource Management experience.
  • Professional HR certification is preferred (i.e., SHRM, HRCI, etc.).
  • Experienced in payroll/HRIS systems. Experience with ADP Platform is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
