F&B Operations Manager

Job Summary: As the Food & Beverage Operations Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our food and beverage services at the hotel, including all restaurant outlets and the banquet department. You will ensure we provide high-quality dining experiences that exceed guest expectations. You will work closely with kitchen and front-of-house staff to optimize operations, enhance profitability, and maintain our reputation for outstanding service. You will also be responsible for managing staff, budgeting, and implementing marketing strategies to achieve organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Management:

Oversee daily operations of all food and beverage outlets to ensure compliance with company standards and local regulations.

Implement and maintain standard operating procedures for service excellence and food quality assurance.

Monitor and analyze operational performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimize efficiency.

Staff Management:

Recruit, train, and supervise food and beverage staff, fostering a positive and productive team environment.

Schedule staff to ensure adequate coverage and service levels during peak times.

Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and development opportunities.

Financial Oversight:

Develop and manage budgets, forecasting, and financial reports to ensure profitable operations.

Monitor inventory levels and control costs by managing purchasing and waste.

Identify and implement strategies to enhance revenue, including menu pricing, promotions, and events.

Guest Experience:

Ensure that guests receive excellent service and that all concerns are addressed promptly and professionally.

Gather feedback from guests to continuously improve service quality and overall dining experience.

Collaborate with the culinary team to develop innovative menus that align with market trends and customer preferences.

Marketing and Promotion:

Plan and execute marketing strategies to promote food and beverage offerings, including special events and seasonal menus.

Manage social media and online presence for food and beverage outlets to enhance brand visibility and customer engagement.

Compliance and Safety:

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, licensing, and food safety standards.

Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance and safety issues and ensure prompt resolution.

Banquet Department Oversight:

Oversee the planning and execution of all banquet and catering events, from small private parties to large-scale conferences.

Coordinate with clients to understand their needs and ensure seamless delivery, from menu selection to setup.

Manage banquet staff scheduling, training, and performance to maintain high standards of service.

Monitor banquet department financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, and profitability.


Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Business Administration, or a related field.

years of experience in food and beverage operations, with a focus on management roles.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests and staff.

Proven financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.

Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to food and beverage operations.

Proficiency in POS systems and MS Office Suite.
