Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in Delray Beach, Florida. This is a Contract to Permanent position, offering an opportunity to transition into a long-term role based on performance. The ideal candidate will excel in managing accounting functions and payroll within a construction environment, utilizing Sage software.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Process payroll efficiently using ADP systems, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
• Perform bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Manage billing functions and generate invoices promptly.
• Utilize Sage accounting software to oversee financial transactions and reporting.
• Prepare periodic financial statements and reports for management review.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and accounting standards.
• Address and resolve financial queries or issues as they arise.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes related to bookkeeping.• Proven experience in bookkeeping, preferably within the construction industry.
• Proficiency in Sage accounting software and ADP payroll systems.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Outlook.
• Expertise in managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Solid understanding of billing processes and financial reporting.
• Ability to work on-site Monday through Friday during standard business hours.
