Job Description
Responsible for protecting the organization from financial crimes by ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act and anti-money laundering (AML) laws.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborates with compliance leadership to establish and maintains a comprehensive framework for BSA/AML compliance in line with regulatory requirements.
- Configures and maintains transaction monitoring systems to detect suspicious activities effectively.
- Maintains comprehensive documentation of investigations, findings, and reporting processes for compliance audits.
- Develops and conducts training sessions for employees on BSA/AML compliance, including identifying suspicious activities and understanding regulatory requirements.
- Conducts detailed reviews of flagged transactions and conducts investigations into suspicious activities to determine their legitimacy.
- Monitors accounts of all risks for unusual patterns or transactions and escalates findings as necessary.
- Prepares and presents regular reports on BSA/AML activities, trends, and findings to management and compliance committees.

Requirements
- Required Education: Technical Studies
- Possible Degrees: Highschool, Bachelor
- Required Experience in the position: Bank Transaction, Operations, Branch, Account Statement, Account Documentation, knowledge prefered. Analytical Skillset and familiar with BSA and AML regulations knowledge.
Technical Knowledge and Skills
- Bank Transaction, Account Statement, Account Documentation knowledge preferred
- Good Analytical and writing skills important
- Familiarity with BSA/AML rules
- Former BSA Analytical experience preferred
