Controller
Fort Lauderdale non-profit seeks a Controller. This role reports to CFO and oversees all accounting, reporting, budgeting, and compliance functions to ensure financial sustainability and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include managing daily accounting operations (GL, payroll, AP/AR, cash management), preparing financial reports, leading budgets/forecasts, tracking grants/contracts, and serving as audit liaison. Ensures GAAP and nonprofit compliance while supervising accounting staff and supporting cross-departmental initiatives.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance; 5+ years progressive accounting experience (2+ supervisory); nonprofit/fund accounting knowledge; proficiency in accounting software and Excel; strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Other: Supervises Sr. Staff Accountant and AP.
