The warehouse worker will be responsible for lifting heavy batteries onto golf carts, installing necessary parts, and then repositioning the batteries. This role requires the use of hand and power tools, with a focus on heavy lifting. The position is labor-intensive and involves tasks such as unscrewing bolts using screwdrivers or electric drills and lifting items up to 40lbs solo.
Responsibilities
- Lift and install heavy batteries onto golf carts.
- Utilize various power and hand tools, including wrenches, drills, and hammers.
- Unscrew bolts using a screwdriver or electric drill.
- Perform team lifts for batteries weighing 75-100lbs.
- Engage in general mechanical assembly and material handling tasks.
Essential Skills
- Experience with hand and power tools.
- Ability to lift up to 40lbs solo and perform team lifts.
- Familiarity with mechanical assembly and construction practices.
- Experience in material handling, production, and unloading.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with a pallet jack and forklift.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Basic understanding of automotive and mechanical processes.

Work Environment
The position is based in a non-climate-controlled warehouse facility, requiring steel-toe shoes. The first shift runs from 8 am until the tasks are completed, usually between 5-6 pm, with the expectation of 10-12 hour days during peak season. Saturdays may be mandatory during busy periods, with the busiest days being Monday and Tuesday. Weekend work is rare.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50/hr.
