CPA firm in Boca Raton seeking a Full-Time Tax Accountant/Bookkeeper to join our team! An ideal candidate will have at least 3 years’ experience in Public Accounting.


We seek someone with prior write-up and tax preparation and/or review experience – please provide good work history and references.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include:

  • Write-up and data entry
  • Bank reconciliations, Journal entries, General Ledger
  • Preparation/review of monthly financial and accounting reports
  • Tax return preparation/review – Corporate, Partnership, and Individual
  • Trust, Estate, and Gift Tax experience a plus
  • International tax experience is a plus
  • Payroll Tax and Sales Tax filings

Qualifications:

Requirements:

  • Strong bookkeeping and accounting skills
  • The capability to work independently and manage multiple projects
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
  • Additional hours are required to meet IRS tax deadlines quarterly and during tax season
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus

Software proficiency:

  • QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop
  • Creative Solutions – UltraTax
  • Creative Solutions – Accounting CS is a plus
  • Lacerte (a plus)
  • Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Doc-it / Safesend is a plus
