About the Role:

As a Cook based in Boynton Beach, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality food preparation and production that meets the standards of our kitchen and satisfies our customers. Your primary focus will be on preparing ingredients, cooking dishes according to recipes, and ensuring food safety and hygiene throughout the process. You will collaborate closely with the Dietary Manager and kitchen team to maintain efficient kitchen operations and timely service. This role requires physical stamina to stand for extended periods, move objects, and navigate kitchen spaces safely, including climbing stairs when necessary. Ultimately, your work will contribute to creating a positive dining experience by consistently producing delicious and well-presented meals.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in food preparation and cooking in a professional kitchen environment.
  • Ability to read and speak English to understand recipes and communicate with team members.
  • Manual dexterity and physical ability to stand for long periods and handle kitchen tools safely.
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Capability to follow instructions from the Head Chef and work collaboratively in a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working under the supervision of the Dietary Manager or in a similar culinary role.
  • Culinary training or certification.
  • Familiarity with a variety of cooking techniques.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
