Our client, an established leader in the building materials sector, is looking for an energetic Branch Director to oversee their Florida location. This critical leadership position presents the chance to spearhead meaningful organizational change and expansion. The ideal candidate will have direct access to executive management and will be instrumental in elevating branch results while cultivating a high-performance, positive workplace environment.
Primary Duties
- Performance Management: Set and uphold performance benchmarks while delivering mentorship and growth opportunities to staff members
- Strategic Planning: Partner with executive leadership on branch roadmap and sustained growth objectives
- Culture Development: Build a constructive, team-oriented workplace that enhances employee satisfaction and retention
- Sales Growth: Inspire and guide the sales division toward ambitious expansion goals, deploying tactics to accelerate revenue and market penetration
- Operations Oversight: Supervise production and warehouse functions to maximize efficiency, output, and operational flow
- Leadership & Management: Build and sustain robust leadership connections with department managers and personnel at all levels
- Problem Resolution: Apply keen analytical and troubleshooting capabilities to tackle operational obstacles and execute lasting solutions
Requirements
- Qualifications
- Management Skills: Track record of directing departmental managers and establishing productive management frameworks
- Industry Experience: Verified expertise in building materials distribution or comparable industry segments
- Culture Building: Established capability to reshape organizational culture and elevate staff engagement
- Sales Focus: Solid history of meeting sales objectives and generating revenue expansion
- Leadership Experience: Confirmed accomplishments in team supervision and enhancing organizational outcomes in multi-department settings
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Superior analytical and resolution capabilities with evidence of addressing sophisticated operational issues
- Desired Qualifications
- Strong presentation and communication capabilities
- Background overseeing both sales and operations divisions concurrently
- Warehouse and production oversight experience
- Background in turnaround or performance enhancement scenarios
