Pay Rate: $25–$29 per hour (based on experience)
About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Staff Accountant with a background in automotive dealership accounting to join our team in West Palm Beach, FL. This is a 100% onsite, contract-to-hire opportunity offering a competitive hourly rate and the potential for long-term employment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and post journal entries accurately and timely
- Perform account reconciliations for general ledger accounts
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
- Maintain accurate financial records in compliance with dealership policies
- Support audits and ensure compliance with internal controls
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies
- Assist with accounts payable/receivable and inventory accounting as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous dealership accounting experience is required
- Strong understanding of journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger accounting
- Proficiency in dealership management systems (e.g., CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, Dealertrack) is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Schedule:
- Full-time, Monday through Friday
- 100% onsite in West Palm Beach, FL
