PrideStaff Financial is seeking a Bookkeeperfor a local client on a full time basis.Ideal candidate should have 5 years of recording transactions and financial reporting.
Responsibilities of Bookkeeper:
- Manage the full cycle accounting
- Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivables
- Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings and payments
- Journal entries
- Reconcile accounts and balance operating cash accounts
- Prepare monthly financial statements, budgets and forecasts
- Assist with audits and year end reviews
- Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies
Qualifications:
- 5 years of proven accounting experience
- Familiarity with bookkeeping and general ledger accounting
- QuickBooks or other software experience
- Competency in MS Office; with intermediate Excel functions
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Aptitude for numbers
- Well organized
- Data entry and word processing skills
- High school diploma; AA degree a plus
