Administrative/Office staff (Davie, Fl.)
Compensation: depending on experience
Description: Small office environment looking for a motivated person to join our team full time. Hours are Mon - Fri 7:30 - 4:00. Florida Aquatic Nurseries has been in business for over 60 years and is the largest company in the US in the aquatic and aquarium plants field. Currently we are expanding our office staff to ensure that our customers continue to receive the best in service and quality. Applicants must submit resume and cover letter for consideration. Responsibilities:
Answering the phones
Taking and entering orders via phone, fax, and email
Answering customer questions
Invoicing
Booking air cargo/ FedEx / UPS
Problem solving to ensure customer satisfaction
Ordering supplies
Answering emails
Composing emails and letters
Sales calls / Product promotion /Add on sales
Requirements:
2 - 5 years of office experience or a college degree
Problem solving skills
Proper phone etiquette
Attention to detail (very important)
Excellent time management skills
Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks
Ability to work at a fast pace in a busy environment
Computer skills - MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Access)
Proficiency at typing
Customer service and communication skills
Horticultural knowledge a plus
College degree a plus
Sales skills a plus

Salary: hourly depending on experience
