Daily and monthly reconciliation.
Responsibilities:
- Research, analyze, compile and prepare accurate and timely reconciliations.
- Prepare various daily, weekly, and monthly reports for management and government agencies as required using established accounting principles.
- Complete special project requested by management.
- Independently analyzes and interprets a wide variety of reconciliations including those that are time sensitive where a risk of loss of financial loss may exists.
- Communicate and follow up on open items with other departments. Escalate when necessary.
- Maintain outstanding items within appropriate time frames as per policy.
OTHER PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES:
- Prepare reports as requested by supervisor.
- Other duties as required.
Minimum Education and/or Certifications Requirements:
Associate’s Degree in business related field. Bachelors in accounting preferred or seven years of accounting experience required in lieu of education.
Minimum Work Experience Requirements:
5 plus years' account reconciliation experience
Technical and/or Other Essential Knowledge:
Operate adding machine with accuracy and speed. Bilingual (English / Spanish) preferred. Previous experience with Accounting Applications, General Ledgers, and Loan Subsystems. Internet and MS Office Skills, including MS Word Level II and MS Excel Level III required.
