The SVP, Head of Sales Strategy and Administration directs and oversees the organization’s sales processes, objectives and initiatives. Design, develop , monitor and execute programs aimed to drive growth and revenue; working in close collaboration with other supporting units to overcome challenges that cause bottlenecks in meeting the organization’s sales targets.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Consumer and Commercial Executive Leadership Team to drive deal effectiveness and deal strategy.
- Partner with with account executives to support strategic deals, ensure seamless sales and operation and foster collaboration.
- Oversee all operational issues for Commercial and Consumer Banking including client tiering, BSA/AML issues through the use of dashboards, reporting and structuring campaigns.
- Coordinate loan pre-screening process.
- Liaise with the Data Analytics Team to ensure data integrity for all sales teams.
- Support the sales efforts for regional offices in all geographies.
- Work in close collaboration with Technology, Facilities and Human Resources to ensure all new hire for consumer and commercial banking have the necessary equipment and workspace on day one of onboarding.
- Responsible for the oversight of the Retail Products Team (deposits, loans and RNDIP).
- Responsible for the oversight of the Commercial BSA Liaison Team.
- Responsible for the oversight of the Commercial Client Services Team.
- Responsible for talent selection, goal setting, coaching and development, performance management including writing disciplinary actions and performance review.
Work Experience:
10+ years of experience, with background in Retail Banking, Commercial Banking and Consumer Banking in a financial institution.
5+ years of experience in Management and Leadership
Education and/or Certifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management, Finance or related field.
Technical and Other Essential Knowledge:
Strong project management and cross- functional skills collaborating with teammates
Ability to identify the root cause, then simplify into something tangible
Proven experience implementing banking products and/or processes
Exposure to BSA regulatory oversight, and loan documentation
