Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Payroll/HR Specialist to join our team on a long-term contract basis in West Palm Beach, Florida. This position involves managing payroll operations, supporting HR functions, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Working part-time, you will play a key role in maintaining efficient processes and contributing to the overall success of the team.
Responsibilities:
• Process full-cycle payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Manage multi-state payroll operations and address any compliance-related matters.
• Utilize Jonas Club Software to oversee staff time clock management.
• Coordinate HR onboarding activities, including tax form preparation and submission.
• Facilitate contributions to the company's 401(k) plan and ensure proper uploading.
• Collaborate with the bank system to handle payroll-related transactions.
• Maintain organized employee records and ensure data security.
• Address payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Support HR initiatives related to employee benefits and workforce management.• Proven experience in full-cycle payroll management.
• Familiarity with multi-state payroll processes and regulations.
• Competency in using Jonas Club Software or similar payroll systems.
• Strong understanding of payroll operations for organizations with over 500 employees.
• Knowledge of ADP Workforce Now or equivalent payroll platforms.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
• Strong communication skills for resolving payroll and HR-related issues.
