Position Summary
We are seeking professional and attentive Banquet/Event Servers to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the success of each event by delivering exceptional service, anticipating guest needs, and maintaining the smooth flow of food and beverage service.
Key Responsibilities
Event Setup & Breakdown
- Prepare event spaces according to banquet event orders (tables, chairs, linens, place settings, dcor).
- Assist with setting up buffets, stations, and bar service areas.
- Properly reset and clean event spaces post-service.
Food & Beverage Service
- Greet guests warmly and deliver polished, professional service.
- Serve plated meals and beverages in a timely, efficient manner.
- Refill drinks, clear plates, and maintain tables throughout the event.
- Support bartenders or buffet service when needed.
Guest Experience & Team Support
- Anticipate and respond to guest requests with professionalism and
- .Work closely with Banquet Captains, Managers, and fellow staff to execute seamless events.
- Ensure guest satisfaction by providing attentive, detail-oriented service.
Cleanliness & Compliance
- Maintain cleanliness of serving areas, tables, and equipment throughout events.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Follow Red Mesa Events standards for responsible alcohol service.
Qualifications
- Previous banquet or upscale dining service experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain professional, calm, and efficient in fast-paced environments.
- Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Positive attitude, teamwork mindset, and polished appearance required.
