About the Role
The CDL A Driver position is crucial for ensuring the timely and safe transportation of goods across designated tri-state routes (Florida, Georgia, and North Carolina). This role requires a dedicated professional who can manage long hours on the road while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies. Drivers are responsible for delivering products efficiently while maintaining high standards of customer service and satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Operate a commercial vehicle to transport goods across assigned tri-state routes
- Ensure timely and safe delivery of products
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to maintain vehicle safety and compliance
- Maintain accurate delivery, mileage, and fuel consumption records
- Follow all DOT, traffic, and company safety regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members
Minimum Qualifications
- Valid CDL A License with appropriate endorsements
- Minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELDs) and route planning software
- Knowledge of regional roadways in Florida, Georgia, and North Carolina
- Customer service experience
